Taking part in our volunteer program will enable you to support unpaid carers in North Somerset and to assist us in delivering our service.
Whether you’ve got minutes, hours, or days, the time you give helps make a huge difference. We ask that volunteers are aged 18+.
You can get involved in lots of different ways, here's some of what you can expect:
Carer companion (befriending)
- Engaging in conversations in person or over the phone to help combat loneliness
- Assist with recreational activities and hobbies at one of our groups sessions
- Accompanying individuals on outings or appointments.
Administrative support volunteers
- Helping with fundraising efforts and community outreach.
Group coordinator volunteers
- Bring your skills and lead or assist one of our support groups sessions
- Provide a safe space for sharing experiences and offering guidance.
