A week-long work experience programme gave local students the chance to develop new skills, explore career opportunities and gain valuable real-world experience.
Alliance Homes has awarded £34,200 to eleven community projects and charities through its Communities Together Grants programme in 2026. Projects receiving funding include a youth wellbeing initiative in Portishead, support for people experiencing food insecurity in Weston-super-Mare, and specialist support for families of young children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
During Carers Week, Alliance Homes has announced the launch of a new service to support young adult carers (YAC) in North Somerset. The initiative forms part of the housing association’s existing Carers Support Service.
