Alliance Homes has officially been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women for the second year running. The recognition follows Alliance Homes' re-certification as a Great Place to Work for 2023 - 2024.
The UK’s Best Workplaces for Women list includes organisations whose employees have said that their workplace is welcoming and inclusive, regardless of gender.
This recognition highlights Alliance Homes’ commitment to creating a supportive and empowering workplace for women. Women make up 53% of Alliance Homes' colleagues, and 46% of their leadership team.
Alliance Homes’ Director of People and Communications, Helen Grantham, says:
“We’re proud to be recognised as a Best Workplace for Women. We believe that every colleague should have the opportunity to unlock their full potential. With our agile working framework, learning and development opportunities, and supportive policies, we aim to create an environment where everyone can succeed regardless of their background, gender, or responsibilities outside of the workplace.
We’re glad to see that our efforts are reflected in our Great Place to Work results, and we know there’s more to do. We’re looking forward to working with our colleagues to create meaningful change”.
Zoe Tettmar is a Empty Homes Manager at Alliance Homes. She says:
“I’m proud to be a female in the repairs service here at Alliance Homes and appreciative of the support and guidance I’ve received from my male colleagues, their encouragement and guidance has been invaluable in championing me as a manager. I’m inspired by the strong female leadership here and hope to lead the way for women to grow and succeed alongside me, particularly in our home repairs service”.
