This week we launched our first sustainability strategy. The strategy sets out our vision and commitment for a green and ethical future and sets out our action plan for the next three years.
Our customers co-created the strategy, and we’ve put them at the centre of it. In the plan we set out how we will improve the energy efficiency of their homes, reduce household bills, tackle fuel poverty and develop resilient communities.
We will also become a more efficient organisation by collaborating with suppliers and other stakeholders to improve the way we work. From our office energy usage to electric vehicles trials and through to our supply chain, we'll identify methods that will reduce our carbon footprint.
In 2022, we were proud to be awarded Bronze status by the SHIFT, the sustainability assessors. This plan will now take us beyond that as we build a greener, more sustainable future.
