If you live in Weston-super-Mare, you can get involved in the Our Neighbour Network (ONN) project, a community-led programme that brings people together to take part in shared activities, projects and opportunities to improve wellbeing and develop life skills.

Our journey so far

The ONN programme started in 2019 with £371,000  of National Lottery funding to launch a five-year programme supporting residents in Bournville, Coronation and Oldmixon, the programme focused on:

  • bringing communities together
  • building stronger networks
  • promoting community growth
  • creating opportunities to improve health and wellbeing.

The programme was led and managed by Alliance Homes in partnership with The For All Healthy Living Centre.

With this funding we established four community hubs, employed dedicated community workers and delivered a range of community activities.

This stage of funding came to an end in 2024 – you can read all about its impact in our final report. If you need this in an alternative format, you can use our accessibility tool found at the top of this webpage. Alternatively, call us on 03000 120 120 or complete our online ‘Contact us’ webform.

In 2025, ONN received £500,000 National Lottery funding to continue for another four years. This time the programme is led by The For All Healthy Living Centre, in partnership with Alliance Homes, and continues to focus on improving health, resilience and wellbeing.
