Sustainability Strategy 2025-28

Our sustainability strategy sets out the actions we will take to reduce our environmental impact and ensures that we are bringing our customers along on this journey to create thriving, sustainable and resilient communities.

The strategy touches on various aspects of Alliance Homes from our homes, operations, supply chain and more to ensure that we are taking steps towards our goal of being a green and ethical organisation.

Warmer, Greener Living

Providing warm, safe and affordable homes for our customers is a key part of our sustainability journey. Warmer, Greener Living is our programme to improve the energy efficiency of our homes.

Improvement measures include cavity wall insulation, external wall insulation and solar PV panels. This scheme is supporting our drive to ensure all of our homes are Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) C by 2030.

Building new energy efficient homes

We're committed to building much-needed new affordable homes across the region. We're working with housebuilders to make sure that all our new homes are fit for the future and designed to be highly energy efficient (including to Passivhaus standard). Our new developments will include a range of 'greener' features, including air source heat pumps and solar panels.
