Preparing for a low carbon future
At Alliance Homes, we are committed to doing our part to tackle the climate and ecological emergency. We're taking action across the organisation and in our communities with our customers to reduce our environmental impact and create sustainable communities.

Sustainability Strategy 2025-28
Our sustainability strategy sets out the actions we will take to reduce our environmental impact and ensures that we are bringing our customers along on this journey to create thriving, sustainable and resilient communities.
The strategy touches on various aspects of Alliance Homes from our homes, operations, supply chain and more to ensure that we are taking steps towards our goal of being a green and ethical organisation.

Warmer, Greener Living
Providing warm, safe and affordable homes for our customers is a key part of our sustainability journey. Warmer, Greener Living is our programme to improve the energy efficiency of our homes.
Improvement measures include cavity wall insulation, external wall insulation and solar PV panels. This scheme is supporting our drive to ensure all of our homes are Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) C by 2030.

Home Energy Advice Team
Our approach to sustainability and warmer, greener living for our customers is not just about the bricks and mortar. The Home Energy Advice Team is here to help our customers save money on their home energy bills. Our advisors have been trained on all matters relating to energy use and energy billing. They can also advise customers on how to maximise their income.

Environment, Sustainability and Governance Report
As we make progress on our journey to being a green and ethical organisation, being transparent will be key to our efforts.
We share our progress regularly using Sustainability for Housing's Sustainability Reporting Standard. Our annual Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) report provides detail on projects happening across the organisation to support our sustainability journey.
