Alliance Homes’ Communities Together Grants has seen a surge of interest, with applications skyrocketing by 300%. This increase not only highlights the pressing need for community investment in our region but also the role the grants play in supporting local projects, initiatives, and communities.
The Communities Together Grants is an award of grants to projects that support Alliance Homes' customers and communities. The grant offers awards of £50 to £7,500 and Alliance Homes’ customer play an important role in deciding who the grants are awarded to. The most recent application period closed in February 2024 and 10 projects have been awarded grants totalling £27,500.
Michael Williams, Community Investment Manager at Alliance Homes shared his feelings about the unprecedented interest, adding “The significant increase in applications is testament to the need and value of community investment. We’re proud to be able to support the ten successful applicants and to be a part of their journey in making a tangible difference to our communities.”
