At Alliance we want our customers to have their say in how best to fund local improvements.

Our Communities Together Grants (CTG) are grants of between £50 to £7,500 that go directly to the areas we serve. What makes these grants so special is that it's our customers who make the decisions about who gets the funds.

Who can apply

The Communities Together Fund is open to applications from groups, organisations and charities who would like to deliver a project in Alliance Homes' areas of operation. if you'd like to know where those areas are - see our 'About us' section.

How to apply?

Please read the guidance document and complete the application form at the bottom of this page. The key points:

  • Our customers decide who gets the grant funding.
  • The aim of the grant funding is to enable groups, locally based charities, and organisations to help make a positive difference to Alliance Homes communities and customers.
  • We welcome customer led grant applications and those that demonstrate there is active engagement, buy-in and support from our customers.
  • Funding is available to support activities across Alliance Homes geography (North Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Bath and North East Somerset and Somerset).
  • The funding will not support foreign trips, applications from individuals, activities that promote religious or political beliefs or that are part of a public bodies’ statutory obligation.
  • We ask those receiving funding to keep us up to date on progress and provide a short report or case study about the impact of funding.

Don't worry if you miss this round, there will be more chances to make applications in the future.

The Funding Panel

The CTG funding panel is a group of local customers who have a desire to see their local community grow. When the panel meets, they review applications and decide whether the application receives direct funding with some of the applications going to a public vote.

Customer vote

For larger funding applications, the panel will shortlist the applications and the vote will be done through HIVE, our online customer engagement platform. So if you are an Alliance Homes customer and like a vote then join HIVE.
